Summer Fields provides the perfect environment for a young boy to spend what are arguably the most important years of his life. Founded in 1864, Summer Fields has maintained its intimate atmosphere with a small community of 240 boys, aged 7-13 years old, who are predominately boarders.
Summer Fields is set in seventy acres of delightful playing fields and grounds which lead down to the River Cherwell, and yet it is only a few minutes away from Oxford City Centre. The School has a strong academic tradition, winning more than forty scholarships and awards over the last five years. However, there is a broad range of ability, and the committed and talented staff bring the best out of every child both inside and outside of the classroom.
The boys make the most of the opportunities available to them, including music, art, drama, design technology, ICT and sport. The facilities are outstanding and there is a huge range of sports and activities for the boys to enjoy both during the week and at weekends.
