The Oxford Boarding Group is an informal association of six leading independent schools within the City of Oxford which all offer a boarding education.

The group includes both Preparatory and Senior schools and represents a range of options: single sex, co-educational, full boarding, flexible boarding, and mixed day and boarding.  This website has been created to help parents choose from a great range of options for the whole school life of their children.

We also aim to highlight Oxford as an ideal location for a boarding school education. The City is well known for its ancient Colleges and is synonymous with learning and excellence in education.  Its outstanding schools enjoy the advantages of exceptional learning resources, in a delightful setting. Oxford offers peaceful leafy surroundings close to beautiful countryside, yet it is only about an hour from London and enjoys very good national and international transport links.
